Living Tours Belfast
Living Tours Belfast - Launch of a brand new experience for tourists and locals alike leaving Belfast Welcome Centre every Sunday at 11.15am. “Living Tours Belfast” is a cross between a walking tour and a piece of promenade theatre, where the audience get to meet the famous and not-so-famous residents of Belfast, past and present, as they see the city.
Audience members will encounter Arthur Chichester, girls from the White Linen Hall mill which once stood where the City Hall now is, shipbuilders working on the Titanic and Olympic, CS Lewis and his wife Joy Gresham, George Best being interviewed in 1974, and finally two modern residents of Belfast discussing the fact that Belfast placed high in the top five UK City Breaks in The Guardian/Observer Travel Awards.
