This little restaurant on the Ormeau Road has been around for years, which really is a credit as they've battled their way to being one of Belfast's favourite restaurants.
Dinner here is so laid back, the decor is a world away from the trendy and contemporary setups nearby, but is all the better for it's quaint charm. You can bring your own wine, and there's a very handy wine shop just a bit down the street.
On our visits we've really enjoyed foods including excellent pigeon, Salade De Chevre Chaud (Warm goats cheese salad), mussels stuffed with garlic butter and monkfish with dill.
The food at L'Etoile is delicious, perfectly presented and served in a charming fashion. Full marks to the chefs.
At the weekend, the restaurant is really lively and bustling so book a table in advance.
