Smithfield Market
The Market is opposite the Castle Court shopping complex which links into the Royal Avenue and Donegall Place shopping precincts. The new Smithfield Market was completed in 1986 replacing the pre-fabricated units erected after the bombing of the old Victorian market in 1974.
The shops in the market sell a range of products including:
- Collectibles and souvenirs
- Hairs, beauty and fashion
- Secondhand goods
- Boxing, martial arts and army supplies
- Carribean and African food

Open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm. Closed on Sundays.
